Detailed description

The beginning of the battle, which took place in Leipzig in 1813, is considered to be the fourth of October. On the following day - 5 numbers - Napoleon Bonaparte offered to the enemy - the anti-French coalition of the settlement agreement. However, his proposal was no reaction from the allied army of Austria, Russia, Sweden and Prussia, he had not received.

Which began October 6 Leipzig massive attack on coalition forces from three directions: north, south and east was so powerful that the French have become the night of October 7 to move away to the west. But the Emperor Bonaparte, taking advantage of differences between the command of the Allies, was able to save about a hundred thousand of its soldiers tortured by pushing them across the Rhine.
